She was born in Mogadishu, Somalia and later moved to Sweden with her family. After establishing a deep interest in visual communication,
Amal became a Graphic designer devoted to creating groundbreaking work that inspires and adds value. Swedish design heritage is deeply
rooted in her art acting as a key source of inspiration.
Moving to London in 2012 led to Amal expanding her vision and design experiences by working on a global scale.
She has cooperated with some of the biggest brands in the world: Calvin Klein, Charlotte Tilbury, Engelbert Stockholm,
Kent & Curwen, Louis Vuitton, Net-A-Porter, Oscar Properties, Topshop, Tory Burch and Victoria Beckham.
Studio Amal Hassan came to life in 2015 with the ambition to offer uncompromising quality through tailor-made projects
for the art & commerce industries.
Driven by constant curiosity and love for design, Amal turns initial concepts into one-of-a-kind bespoke content expressing the value
